Executive Chef Bryant Kryck

Executive Chef Bryant Kryck brings more than a decade of culinary leadership and a deep passion for storytelling through food to ROAM. A U.S. Army Military Police Veteran, Bryant pursued his culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu before beginning his career in Austin, Texas. He later spent significant time in Portland, Oregon, where he honed his skills in the city and discovered a lasting love for the craft — one that continues to define his style today.

Bryant’s career has taken him across the country, leading kitchens and re-concepting hotel restaurants in Oregon, Nebraska, New York, Michigan, and Utah. Each stop shaped his approach, blending fine dining discipline with global influences and a respect for regional ingredients. Portland, in particular, served as the foundation of his culinary identity, instilling a deep appreciation for seasonality, local sourcing, and creative expression.

His style reflects both precision and imagination — showcasing Oregon’s bounty while weaving in inspiration from around the world, from chimichurri to miso to horchata. In 2020, Bryant gained national recognition with appearances on Food Network’s Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games. At ROAM, he brings together his diverse experiences and Pacific Northwest roots to create menus that are approachable yet elevated — food that connects people, tells a story, and celebrates the season.
