Meet Executive Chef Bryant Kryck

Executive Chef Bryant Kryck brings more than a decade of culinary leadership, global inspiration, and a passion for bringing people together through food to ROAM in downtown Bend, Oregon.

A U.S. Army Military Police veteran and graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Bryant began his culinary career in Austin, Texas, before making his way to Oregon. His career has taken him across the country, where he has led culinary teams and helped develop and reimagine hotel restaurant concepts in Oregon, Nebraska, New York, Michigan, and Utah.

Those experiences shaped a culinary philosophy rooted in strong technique, seasonal ingredients, and creative exploration. At ROAM, Bryant draws inspiration from culinary traditions around the world while highlighting ingredients and producers from Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Rather than defining the menu by a single style of cuisine, his approach is thoughtful, approachable, and driven by seasonality, place, and a sense of discovery.

In 2020, Bryant gained national recognition through appearances on Food Network’s Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games. Today, as Executive Chef of ROAM in downtown Bend, his focus is on creating a dining experience that feels distinctly Central Oregon: relaxed yet thoughtful, creative without being complicated, and centered on seasonal food and genuine hospitality.

For Bryant, the best dining experiences aren’t defined by formality. They’re defined by the people around the table, the food being shared between them, and the moments that make you want to stay a little longer.
